On Thursday, July 16, Cassie started to deliver her first litter of puppies! What an exciting day that was!
At 6:05 p.m. the first puppy was born!!! The delivery went very good and Cassie was very relaxed the whole time! She did all she was supposed to do, even though this was her first litter. She's a natural!
And she was very happy with her sweet puppies.
She even let the boys watch and welcome the new puppies!
All 5 puppies arrived safe and sound by 10:15 that evening! Cassie
wouldn't leave them for hours. She nursed and snuggled
and made sure they were all taken care of.
