Sharing Love

We regularly visit a few ladies at an assisted living home. They love our boys, as well as the puppies! We took 3 puppies in one week and 2 in the next.

She held Sydnie for probably a half hour! Sydnie just snuggled in and slept. It was so sweet!

This friend just had her 100th birthday! She is always asking to see "the boys" and was delighted to have the puppies visit, too. Here she is holding Pearl.

Our boys think it's pretty cool that they know someone who is 100 years old.

This is our next visit, with Perry and Kelly.

This friend always had a dog when she lived at home, so it was special for her to have puppies in her room!

A lot of the nurses and residents wanted a turn at holding or petting the puppies.
And the boys enjoyed sharing them!

6 Week Vet Check

 On Friday, April 1, the puppies had their 6 week check-up. I took them to our vet, Dr. Thomas Gondek, at New Holland Veterinary Hospital. They weren't too excited about the drive at first, but after a couple minutes, they settled right down.

Kelly was a little nervous, so I snuggled her while we waited.

Everyone thought they were so cute; a few of the other customers even had to hold some of them :)

Lucy weighed in at 2.8 pounds

Pearl was the lightest at 2.75 pounds. I was surprised at this!
Her fluffiness makes her look bigger than she is.

Sydnie weighed 3.25 pounds

Perry, even though he's the shortest, weighed 3.25 pounds

Like I thought, Kelly weighed the most: 3.5 pounds.

Dr. Gondek said every one was very healthy and looked great!
